Enhanced Security Measures to be Implemented for upcoming Festival in Sycamore Township, Ohio.
Sycamore Township is taking extra steps to provide a fun, safe event for residents and visitors attending this weekend’s Tire Discounters Festival in Sycamore 2025.
In the interest of hosting a safe, community, family friendly event, enhanced security measures will be implemented at the two (2) day event, held annually at Bechtold Park in Sycamore Township.
What will you see that might look a bit different?
• New condensed entrance points and new security-staffed event perimeters
• Elevated patrol presence from the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) and security personnel
• Command center staffed by Sycamore Township Fire Department, Township staff, HCSO and security personnel.
Things may look a bit different from prior years, but all the fun elements attendees are accustomed to will be in place.
Featuring live musical entertainment, amusement rides, carnival games and food and beverage options, the Festival takes place this Friday & Saturday (July 18 & 19th ) at Bechtold Park from 6pm – 12midnight.

I don't blame you guys at all for having to do this. Safety comes first. As we saw on July 4th in many places, including my own city, some people either don't know how to behave in public or specifically seek to ruin successful events. I imagine your residents will appreciate your proactiveness. Good luck with your festival!
Extra security is appreciated but sad that it is necessary after seeing issues at the Blue Ash fireworks
